The Friends of Capitol Modern invite you to The Mod Gala 2025: Botanical Rhapsody fundraiser for the Hawai’i State Art Museum (Capitol Modern). Fashion show, silent auction, and fine dining.

Saturday, May 3, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Ages 21 and over. Admission tickets start at $90.

The Hawaiʻi Triennial ends on May 4, however, the exhibit at Capitol Modern will be on view through December 12, 2025.

Friday tours 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. guided by HT25 Curator Noelle Kahanu (no tour May 2).

MOD GALA FASHION
MAY 5 - JUNE 21, 2025

Hawaiʻi fashion designers featured in the 2025 Mod Gala fashion show will also display their work in an exhibit at Capitol Modern.

FACULTY SHOW: STATE OF HAWAIʻI DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
JULY 1 - 31, 2025

The
SFCA Art in Public Places Program and the Mid-Pacific School of the Arts are partnering on a pilot program for arts education. “Stories from Nature”, an exhibit of student works will be at Capitol Modern April 7 - 24, 2025 in the Turnaround Gallery (second floor, back of the Lēʻahi Gallery). Students from Mid-Pacific Kindergarten and first and second grades engaged in a deep investigation of the natural world and the works on display will be artifacts from this ongoing exploration.
