• Guardrail Installation Scheduled For Various Locations In Waimānalo

HONOLULU – MEI Corporation, Inc., the City & County of Honolulu (CCH) contractor for a project to install new guardrail and object marker at various locations in Waimānalo, is scheduled to begin work on March 3, 2022. Work will occur Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will involve lane closures at these site location work zones.  Area residents and motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes during these work hours.

Below are the designated sites where the work will be done with corresponding dates of construction. 

Site 1: Mahailua Street (Kailua side of Kakaina St.) - March 3, 2022 to April 29, 2022
Site 3: Mahailua Street (toward Waikupanaha St.)  - April 27, 2022 to May 19, 2022
Site 4: Waikupanaha Street (near FH 1229) - May 17, 2022 to May 27, 2022
Site 5: Waikupanaha Street (near Kaulukana St.)  - May 25, 2022 to June 28, 2022
Site 6: Mokulama Street - May 17, 2022 to May 30, 2022
