• Traffic Advisory: Kona Street Pavement Repairs

Road repair work will be performed on Kona Street between Pensacola St. and Pi‘ikoi St.

 
HONOLULU – The Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) will partially close Kona Street between Pensacola Street and Pi‘ikoi Street to perform necessary pavement repairs, beginning

Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, February 11, 2022, weather and conditions permitting.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to please avoid the area and use alternate routes, if possible. If unable to avoid the area, allow for extra travel time and abide by posted traffic signs. Special Duty Honolulu Police Department Officers will be posted at the work site to assist with traffic control.  

Access to driveways along the construction portion of Kona Street may be restricted while work is being performed fronting the affected properties. Emergency access will be accommodated as needed.
