Work set to begin on Ala Wai Golf Course access road

Honolulu -- Beginning on Monday, July 23, the Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) Storm Water Quality Branch will begin reconstruction work on the Ala Wai Golf Course access road.

Traffic along the access road will be reduced to a single lane for the duration of the reconstruction work, with special duty police officers assisting with traffic control.

Motorists visiting the golf course are asked to drive with caution, and observe and obey all traffic controls and posted signs.

Access road reconstruction is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, September 11.

The Ala Wai Golf Course, clubhouse facility and driving range will remain open and accessible throughout the project.
