Aloha Festivals 2026
Aloha Festivals proudly celebrates a historic milestone: 80 years of celebrating Hawaiian culture, community, and the aloha spirit. For eight decades, Hawai‘i’s longest-running cultural festival has united generations of kamaʻāina (locals) and malihini (visitors) to honor Hawaiian culture through music, hula, storytelling, and shared cultural experiences. Weekly Waikiki Fireworks Show at the Hilton Hawaiian Village
Waikiki knows how to start the weekend with a bang! Every Friday night since 1988, the Hilton Hawaiian Village puts on a free fireworks show at the beach. Visitors and residents are treated to a free a 10-minute fireworks show that starts around 7:45pm and is visible even in the Ala Moana and Ward neighborhoods. (View Map)

Sunset on the Beach - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii - Summer 2026
This popular summer series at Queen's Surf Beach (across from the Honolulu Zoo) will start at 4:30 p.m., and feature live, Hawaiian entertainment beginning at 5 p.m. There will be a variety of exciting games for all ages, and a diverse mix of restaurants and food vendors selling their delicious creations. The evening will culminate with the showing of a hit movie on the 30-foot-wide big screen as the sun goes down around 7 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

WAIKIKI EVENT - Free Waikiki Beach Hula - Kuhio Beach Hula Show SEPTEMBER 2026
Hawaiian music and hula Tuesdays and Saturdays, weather-permitting 6:30-7:30 pm at Kuhio Beach Hula Mound in Waikiki. Located beachside on Kalakaua, near the Duke Kahanamoku Statue. Free, outdoors, seating on the grass. Presented by the Hawaii Tourism Authority, City & County of Honolulu, Aloha Festivals, Hyatt Regency Hotel and Waikiki Improvement Association. (View Map)
